We are doing everything we can to help Gaza.
We know you are tired of witnessing the unimaginable horrors and destruction that have left the Gaza Strip in ruins. Tired of witnessing families being burned alive as airstrikes destroy their flimsy shelters, and what is left of their health centres, and overwhelmed hospitals. Tired of the death toll rising daily, leaving all of us traumatised. BUT so are Gaza’s children, who are trying to survive this ordeal, traumatised, injured, and increasingly forgotten.
Since 2 March 2025, no aid has been allowed into Gaza, making it the longest blockade since the war began. The result? A collapsed healthcare system, soaring malnutrition, and a staggering number of wounded children. Every month, an average of 475 children are left permanently disabled, losing limbs, sight, or hearing, with no access to treatment.
We couldn't give up, so we have partnered with UNICEF to deliver emergency cash assistance to 700 children with disabilities, offering each child a monthly grant of $373 (£295) to help cover food, medicine, mobility aids, and urgent care.
The grant empowers families to meet their children’s needs in real time, buying what’s necessary when it’s needed most, in an environment where prices are soaring and supplies are limited.
Alhamdulillah, since June 25th, food has begun to reach some families, albeit not enough. Our partners resumed food deliveries with limited aid now entering Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Zikim (West Erez) crossings.
Our partners on the ground are also delivering safe, clean water to families using water tankers, ensuring each person receives at least 3 litres of drinking water a day. This is lifesaving since only a fraction of Gaza’s water facilities are still functioning, and fuel shortages are pushing the system to the brink of collapse, leaving 93% of households with no access to water and at serious risk of disease.
On 26 June, our partners also directly distributed flour to 2,100 families for the first time in months, and are now aiming to deliver 100 trucks per day carrying wheat flour and ready-to-eat food.
But this is still far from meeting the total weekly need.
